My new wife

Hi to all my loyal readers, and welcome to the latest instalments of
"Jason's excellent adventures". This time in hopefully sunny Vanuatu.
Today, as many of you would be aware, I got married to Melissa.
(That's us in the picture). Tomorrow we are off for a one week
holiday. Whilst I'm not to confident with the state of "free" wifi in
Vanuatu, I'm hoping.

Fr. Roderick at St. Marys Cathedral

This morning I did something that I very rarely do. I went to mass. I have been listening to Fr. Roderick since 2005 when Pope John Paul 2 died. So, as Fr Roderick was going to be co-celebrating mass with Cardinal Pell at the Cathedral, I decided that it was the perfect opportunity to meet. It was definitely very worthwhile to have made the effort to go and to meet fr Roderick and to watch him celebrate mass.

Morning...

I can't understand why at 6.30 non of these kids are even awake. This
is Marty and John. They had a little sit down outside the window.

Be careful!!!

This was the first scarey thing we had to do. Some of the little
darlings were more scared than others so I had to show them how it was
done.

Year 7 camp

This was the view I had on the bus travelling to year 7 camp this
morning. I have been told that we passed some nice scenery. Anyway,
after sorting out some last minute problems with notes (and patents)
we are currently on our way and on the M2 car park.

Australia day baloons

Australia day 2009

It was an early start, 5.00 am. We decided that the best start to the
morning would be to go and see the hot air baloons go up from
Parramatta park. About 20 baloons went up and another 5 stayed to give
people overpriced 3 minuite ride up.

Sea wall

If I had some paint, I would have painted a rock myself. Some of the
locals look harshley upon visitors who paint the bolders but that's ok.

Feeding the chickens

Day 2- the beach

Day 2 of the trip away. We had to feed the chickens in the morning and
the two dogs. Dinky ate Sasha's breakfast as well which was very
naughty. No dinner for him tonight. After our breakfast we came down
to Shelly beach to build some sand castles and find some shells.

Holiday

Today Melissa, Riley, Dinky and I left for our first holiday together.
We are going up to Coffs Harbour to spend a couple of days relaxing
and maybe catch up with a few friends along the way. Riley just had a
little accident but he's ok. He got his finger stuck in the door handle.
Dinky is behaving well (so far).
